The E Procurement (EDI) Business Analyst core responsibilities are to develop a blended approach to integration based on the customers procurement needs. Enabling customers to realize efficiencies through digitalization and optimizing the procurement process. Core responsibilities are as follows:

  • Lead internal and customer meetings in order to drive E-Procurement and digital integrations.  Oversee the development, testing and rollout of these initiatives.
  • Manage and support B2B online marketplaces (Ariba, Coupa, Taulia etc.) and other systems as identified by the company to help promote Wurth products and services. 
  • Support team (EDI Specialist and Integration Developer) in developing EDI capabilities and drive full cycle EDI implementations to further digitalize the procurement cycle.
  • Analyze procurement workflows and processes and identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement process improvements to streamline purchasing processes, reduce cycle times, and enhance efficiency.
  • Promoting the training and adoption of our E-Business channels (eShop, ORSY Connect, eProcurement) within our organization. You will play a vital role in driving awareness, understanding, and utilization of our digital platforms among internal stakeholders, empowering them to leverage these channels effectively.
  • Lead and support sales generation across all E-Business channel (eShop, ORSY Connect, eProcurement) by collaborating with our sales organization.
  • Be the communication conduit with our sales organization by providing regular E-Business updates on functionality updates, upcoming campaigns, and promotions.
  • Performance tracking to ensure relevant KPI’s and targets are met.

What you will bring to the team: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree / diploma in E-Commerce and/or Information Technology
  • Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in a similar capacity
  • Drive and a proven track record of implementing integrated projects with a high degree of proficient in utilizing agile methodologies.
  • Minimum 2-3 years working within a E-Procurement/Integration capacity; preferably with SAP, Ariba, Coupa, and/or Punchout.
  • Experience working with Marketplace and EDI document.
  • Critical thinker with an aptitude for change management and process improvement, adept at communicating insights derived from analyses.  
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator who can create authentic relationships with their team, and colleagues with the ability to motivate, influence, and engage others.  
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills and demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of the organization internally and externally
  • Strong organization skills and ability to balance project work with urgent day-to-day tasks in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Proven ability to understand the business goals of the company and how to drive them forward in alignment with team role and responsibilities as well as customer needs.    
  • A role model with keen self-awareness who can display and support a high-performance culture built on humanistic values.    
  • Proficiency in Jira (or project management software) will be an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications is required.
  • Ability to travel as necessary (roughly 2 weeks per year) nationally.
  • Bilingual French/English (verbal and written) is an asset
