Reporting to the Product Department Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing new suppliers, partners and product lines for Wurth Canada, as well as developing and expanding existing relationships with key vendors.
  • Sourcing non-stock items at the best quality and price available from a defined vendor list, as well as additional onboarding of new suppliers (as required) to satisfy the completion of the quotation process
  • Act as the key contact for cross referencing of items from various vendor/competitor/product lists, with additional sourcing for bids and tenders where needed
  • Collaboration with product management regarding key ranges that should be considered for our regular ranges that are being sourced through key account support on a regular basis.
  • Expediting and resourcing when and where needed to meet customer delivery expectations.
  • Increasing sales and customer loyalty, as well as maintaining and enhancing customer relations with our Key Account team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and execute on the (NPI) New Product Introduction process, to ensure successful product development and launch for customer specific items.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, including, but not limited to, product technical documents and marketing collateral for customer specific items.
  • Ensure on-time delivery and execution of all company planned initiatives as it pertains to onboarding of new key account products.
  • Work internally and externally with our vendors and internal stake holders to support the quotation process with the ultimate goal of gaining top-line revenue growth for new key account opportunities.

What YOU will bring to this role:

  • Fully bilingual (French/English) is preferred - verbal and written
  • College or University Education in business or a related field
  • Familiarity with industrial products and product designations
  • Self-starter who can perform in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.  
  • Effective in managing priorities and working time.  
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator who can create authentic relationships with colleagues.  
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization, both internally and externally.  
  • Keen self-awareness and alignment with a workplace culture that is built on humanistic values and continuous improvement.   
  • Adept and interested in understanding business needs and working to achieve the company’s vision and goals. 
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
