Reporting to the Credit Department Manager, you will be responsible to:

  • Provide timely and accurate support to internal and external customers by responding to a high volume 
    of inbound collections-related phone calls and emails.
  • Oversee daily review and resolution of rejected emails, obtaining updated contact information and 
    resending documentation as needed to the appropriate parties.
  • Responsible for daily reconciliation of payments across both Pickup Shop locations.
  • Manage daily credit card invoice and refund processing while ensuring compliance with established 
    procedures.
  • Collaborate with Collectors to support the timely processing of credit references.
  • Assist Collectors by ensuring accurate review and timely release of credit-hold orders.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new sales representatives by enabling mobile cheque deposit access.
  • Partner with internal teams, including Customer Support, Back Office, Pricing, and National Accounts to 
    manage and resolve customer issues through to completion.
  • Serve as a backup resource for cash application activities, including the accurate and timely processing 
    of cheques and EFTs, through an automated cash application platform and process any online bill 
    payments.
  • Perform detailed daily bank reconciliations by balancing deposits and applied payments, 
    researching and resolving discrepancies, and completing all required system uploads to maintain 
    accuracy, internal controls, and continuity of operations in the absence of the primary Cash Application - Credit Representative.
  • Support monthly interest charge calculations and processing in accordance with established 
    procedures.
  • Participate in the accurate and timely monthly reconciliation of credit card transactions with the Finance 
    team when needed.
  • Effectively manage multiple inquiries concurrently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Actively engage in team meetings, one-on-one check-ins, and ongoing process improvement efforts in 
    alignment with documented SOPs and best practices.

What YOU will bring to this role: 

  • Bilingualism in English and French, both written and spoken (required).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a credit, cash applications, or customer service–focused role.
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a customer-centric environment, with strong interpersonal skills and 
    the ability to remain calm, objective, and professional in high-pressure or challenging situations.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with strong multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a 
    fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience managing customer interactions via phone and email.
  • Strong communication and customer management skills, with a solution-oriented and professional 
    approach.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with strong attention to detail. 
  • Comfortable working with KPIs, service level expectations, and performance metrics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
